St. Peter's Basilica Opening Hours

What is the opening and closing time of St. Peter's Basilica?

The schedule of St. Peter’s Basilica is governed by the liturgical and tourist seasonality of the Vatican to guarantee the orderly flow of people. The actual opening hours are the following:

It is fundamental to keep in mind that access is free, but requires passing through a security check in St. Peter’s Square, which can significantly increase waiting time during peak hours.
